Custom Orders: How it works

Once Paid, there are no refunds just because you changed your mind. If for some reason I cannot complete your order, I will issue a full refund.

• All custom orders have a $30 fee in addition to the cost of the item. This covers consultation time. If you need me to make sketches before you can decide, you can pay this fee first. It is nonrefundable.

• The window of processing time will be discussed before or when you place your order and will be stated in your listing. Processing time changes seasonally. Processing time starts after you pay the full amount.

• I usually send pictures before I ship. If your order is incredibly specific or off topic, you are not entitled to a remake (this will always be my decision as an artist in order to protect myself from being taken advantage of). If you come to me with simply a color request for something I already make, you may be able to request a remake if I miscommunication the colors. It is always my goal to make quality products and happy customers, but I am an artist, not a precision machine.

• I will wait at least 24 hours for your response before shipping the item. No returns, no refunds. Let me know right away if it arrives damaged by the post office and I will help file a claim.

• A custom order is not just buying an item, it includes a service and that is why it costs more. I am making you a priority and ensuring you get work from me that speaks to you. I’m probably not going to work on it right away. The course of my day usually includes making a few items that I’m inspired to make and then completing a paid order. You want me to take that time for myself. It helps me warm up my hands and my brain and the custom orders turn out better that way. You are welcome to message or email me for updates, but please have patience as well.
