Gold lustre is fired onto the glass leaving a plate of real 22k gold. It is durable enough to wipe clean but can be scratched off with enough force. Soaking in alcohol or other solvents can damage the finish. May wear off with regular use. Do not microwave. Same application and risks apply to Mother Of Pearl Luster.
