Memorial Pendants

from $60.00

I turn your loved ones ashes into a wearable work of art. This pendant can be worn on a necklace or hung from a cord as a decoration.

The image you see in the glass is created with cremains. Just as each person and animal is unique, the ashes are as well. This causes variations in color, density, and bubbles within the glass.

Upon purchasing, you will be contacted with further instruction on shipping the ashes to the artist and to discuss the available backing colors.

You can request that the bale be left off, making it a pocket stone rather than a wearable pendant.

Time frame changes depending on the time of year. Contact me to discuss the wait expected.

Torchworked borosilicate glass sculpture made by Deanna Cook. Fully annealed hard glass is still at risk of breaking if poorly handled.

Ash remains can affect the glass with bubbles or color alterations. Every one I’ve done has been a little different.

I only need a small amount of ashes. I ask for a teaspoon so I have enough to sift for the smallest pieces. The remainder is returned with the finished piece.

How you ship the ashes is up to personal preference. USPS has a specific envelope for that, it helps ensure the delivery. People often put the ashes in an empty medicine bottle or a ziplock bag. Many people double the ziplock bag and ship them in a regular padded envelope.

When you purchase this listing, you have the option to upgrade the shipping of your order to have insurance and signature upon arrival. I am not responsible for mail lost by USPS, especially if you choose the free basic shipping option.

No returns or refunds or exchanges. Sale is final.
