The one marked (FLAWED) cracked while I was making it. It’s all melted back together but does have visible scars.
Torchworked borosilicate glass sculpture made by Deanna Cook. Fully annealed hard glass is still at risk of breaking if poorly handled.
These can be soaked and cleaned with solvents like 97% rubbing alcohol. The color and sparkles are part of the glass itself and do not wash off.
Lab Opals are the only kind compatible with glass encasement.
